Empress – Sand Filter

The Empress series of sand filters combine ease of operation, durability, and precision engineering that allow high flow for excellent water clarity. Available in sizes 16 “, 19”, 24 “and 31”.

Features

• The one-piece filter body is blow molded from a tough polymer plastic, immune to chemicals and environmental abuse, to provide a rugged, attractive filter.
• Injection molded support pedestal.
• Eight corrosion-free, non-clogging, under the drainage sides create a fully balanced flow through the full diameter of the sand bed. These precision-engineered sides ensure high water flow, excellent water clarity, and more efficient backwashing.
• The top-mounted, multi-point, multi-function, six-position valve with pressure gauge and sight glass provides final filter operation.
• The drain assembly is located at the bottom of the tank, which makes wintering or servicing quick and easy. The drain assembly only allows the water to drain.
• Valve functions: Filter, backwash, rinse, recirculation, waste, and shutdown.
