Intrepid – Speck Pumps
The Speck Intrepid circulation pump incorporates many updated features expected only from larger ground pumps. The pump is self-priming, extremely quiet, and has an easy-to-open and close two-piece lid. Quick disconnect unions are provided for easy installation and maintenance. The Intrepid is available with a special energy saving PSC motor that saves up to 20% compared to standard split phase motors.
Features
- This high-performance mid-head pump comes with a standard 5/8 “carbon / ceramic mechanical seal for convenient replacement.
- Pieces made of 100% recyclable plastic. Non-corrosive, chemical / UV resistant, and can withstand temperatures up to 150 ° F.
- The suction and discharge ports are equipped with quick disconnect unions. Supplied with standard 1.5 “and 1.5” / 1.25 “hose adapter connections. (Optional 1.5” NPT connection also available).
- For the safety of users, the impeller has a dielectric shaft sleeve that provides absolute separation between water and electrical parts.
- The pump is 3 standard feet. Pre-assembled 3/12 AWG wire set. A variety of cable assemblies are available.
- Optional 4 “tall base is available.
- The specially constructed clear lid with the ring lock design is easy to open. The filter basket is always locked in place.
- The motor is easy to remove without disturbing the tubing. Reusable O-rings throughout.
- Full 12-month warranty.
