The single incubator version of the advanced Potalab kit, the Potatech features a full suite of digital instruments, yet remains lightweight and extremely portable for rural and remote water monitoring.
Formerly called the ‘Basic Water Safety Planning Kit’, the Potatech is designed and supplied for the field monitoring aspect of the Joint Monitoring Program (JMP). A favorite of field-based WASH professionals, the Potatech combines sophisticated digital instrumentation with high levels of portability to provide a detailed assessment of the microbiological, physical and chemical quality of a water supply:
- Microbiological Field Analysis – Single incubator constructed from thermally efficient materials to deliver maximum incubation cycles from the high capacity battery.
- Reliable physicochemical analysis – includes 7100 photometer, TurbidimeterPlus, and pocket sensors for pH and conductivity.
- Supplied with enough consumables and parts to process / analyze 200 samples.
